Energy Engineer

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Energy Engineer to join our team at our Kingscourt site. As part of the Maintenance department, the Energy Engineer will continuously reduce energy consumption and CO2 generation at Kingscourt at a pace that will ensure Kingscourt Site meets its ambitions to be Carbon Neutral by 2030 in line with Saint Gobain and National Policy.

The successful candidate will be of a minimum Leaving Certificate with a 3rd level qualification in Engineering and or Science. They must have proven experience in energy management and project delivery. Gas Systems,

Schematics and combustion analysis experience is essential. The successful candidate will also have demonstrable experience in delivery/participation in formalised Energy / CO2 Improvement Programs.

 

The ideal candidate must be results driven and have the ability to work within cross functional teams. The role has defined KPIs/Targets to bring the site forward and to achieve our Carbon Neutral journey by 2030.
