Globally Saint-Gobain spends over €350 million annually on R&D. This investment enables us to bring to market the technical advances that will make our homes, schools and buildings more energy efficient and comfortable places. In Ireland we have we have created a range of guides which outline the standards, legal requirments and solutions for the Education & Residential Sector.
Education Sector - A Design Guide
Our aim, with this guide, is to help you create the best possible learning environment. This means designing and building classrooms and study areas which, first and foremost are safe, and then bringing together all the essential elements required to enhance the learning process: teaching, of course, but also comfort and wellbeing resulting from a healthy indoor climate, carefully thought-out ergonomics and the best possible acoustic conditions. This guide considers the essential minimum requirements, as set out in The Department of Education and Skills own Technical Guidance Documents (TGD’s) and provides tips as to how to achieve these requirements along with some guidance based on our own areas of expertise.
Residential Sector Guide
Our aim is to provide a guidance document highlighting changes in the Irish residential building market. The Residential Sector Guide illustrates the changes in the regulatory environment, the market and the needs of the consumer. The document provides top tips for builders and key steps for building compliance, along with product solutions and how to access on-site demonstrations and training.
