We are seeking to recruit an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Kingscourt site. As part of the Engineering department, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the design and installation of robust and world-class automation systems, supporting the continued and sustained development and improvement of the Kingscourt Manufacturing process.
The Automation Engineer has responsibility for the identification of automated process efficiency improvements across the production process, seeking solutions and designing, installing and commissioning automated systems in accordance with specification. The successful candidate will exercise their detailed knowledge of process manufacturing, field instrumentation, control system installation and implementation expertise in all of the following project phases: requirements documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration, testing and on-site start-up. The successful candidate must have a Mechatronics/Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Degree. They must be proficient in MS office.
The successful candidate must have proven experience using PLC, SCADA and HMI systems in a manufacturing background. They must also have proven experience working with Technical/Electrical drawings and specifications. Project management skills are also required.
